SPANISH ART OF DISTILLING IN FRENCH OAK BARRELS

Our brandy barrels come from the "capital" of Spanish brandy - Jerez de la Frontera. Around 90 % of all producers are located in the closer vicinity.

In contrast to other spirits made from wine, a special distillation process is used to make the brandy. Two separate and completely different distillates (holandas and destilados) are used. The actual carriers of the aroma known for Spanish brandy are called holandas, which have an alcohol concentration between 60 and 65 %. In combination the significantly more neutral Destilados (alcohol concentration of 84 to 86 %) ensure a more subtle and round taste.
